Adeline Phun

Adeline Phun is General Manager of Ruder Finn Malaysia, a role she has held since 2021. She leads integrated teams across corporate, brand, digital and influencer communications, specialising in reputation management, media relations, crisis preparedness and strategic storytelling. Adeline collaborates closely with senior leaders on reputation, crisis and stakeholder challenges, helping organisations communicate with clarity, credibility and purpose in fast paced settings.

Adeline has 24 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, fast moving consumer goods, property, technology, fintech, mobility, government and start up sectors. She has advised leading brands such as Suntory Food and Beverage, ZUS Coffee, 3M, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Visa. Her work includes multi market campaigns, policy sensitive communications and complex issues management, with a focus on simplifying complexity and helping organisations through periods of change and scrutiny.

Beyond client work, Adeline is passionate about talent development, mentoring emerging communications professionals across the industry. She is most curious about the responsible use of AI to improve brand storytelling and audience engagement. Outside work she practises hybrid strength training that combines conditioning and endurance, principles that shape her leadership approach.
