Edulink: Better Leads at Lower Cost

Edulink, an education services provider in Myanmar, wanted higher quality student leads at a lower cost without departing from its established messaging. Ruder Finn Era combined a content led approach with precise targeting and marketing automation to capture the opportunities the client had been missing. The campaign achieved the client's KPI for conversion rate of quality leads.

The challenge

Edulink's marketing was generating leads, but not enough of the right ones, and at a cost that limited growth. The client wanted to improve lead quality and reduce acquisition cost by optimising its social media marketing and performance buying, while staying aligned with the approach and messaging it had already built. The emphasis was firmly on lead generation rather than brand awareness for its own sake.

Our solution

Ruder Finn Era identified a missed opportunity in how prospective students were being reached and followed up. The answer was a content led approach, with material designed to attract the students most likely to enrol, paired with precise audience targeting so that spend was not wasted on the merely curious.

Marketing automation handled the follow up, nurturing enquiries at the right moments instead of leaving them to cool. Together these changes lifted the proportion of leads that converted without abandoning the messaging Edulink's audience already knew.

The results

The campaign achieved the client's KPI for the conversion rate of quality leads.
