Essilor Laos: Opening a Second Facility in Savannakhet
Essilor Lao Company opened its second facility in Savannakhet on 11 June 2025. Ruder Finn Era planned and ran the launch with the global, ASEAN and local teams, producing an English and Lao media kit, a launch video and real time interpretation, and securing more than 15 pieces of coverage.
The challenge
A manufacturing opening in Savannakhet had to satisfy three audiences at once: EssilorLuxottica's global and ASEAN leadership, Lao officials and the local media, in two languages, with a press conference that ran to the minute.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era produced the English and Lao media kit with press releases, question and answer documents and a briefing book, managed the event with real time translation and interpretation, ran media relations and delivered a launch video and curated photo set for use after the day.
