vivo: Photography Workshop for the V60 Sales Team
vivo Myanmar wanted its national sales team to understand and believe in the new V60 as a creative photography tool, not just a device. Ruder Finn Era designed and ran a photography workshop led by an award-winning photographer, with outdoor shoots at Yangon landmarks and an awards segment. More than 90 sales staff took part.
The challenge
The vivo V60 was positioned on photography, but a camera story only sells if the people on the shop floor can demonstrate it with conviction. vivo Myanmar wanted to strengthen product knowledge and brand engagement across its national sales team ahead of the launch.
The brief was an interactive, photography-focused workshop that would leave participants with real skills and the confidence to present the V60 as a creative tool for storytelling and professional-grade photography, while giving visiting vivo global representatives a seamless experience.
Our solution
Ruder Finn Era developed a full workshop management plan covering agenda design, logistics and on-site coordination, built around the idea that the sales team should learn photography, not product specifications, and discover the phone's capabilities by using them.
An intermediate photography course led by an award-winning Myanmar photographer was paired with practical outdoor sessions at Yangon's National Races Village and The Secretariat, locations that gave participants strong subjects and a sense of occasion. A structured awards segment recognised the best images and lifted motivation and participation.
The team also managed a pre-event site recce and full client servicing for vivo's global representatives throughout the three-day programme.
The results
More than 90 members of the sales team completed the workshop and left with their own V60 portfolio to show customers.
